On the starvation claim, an IPC analysis backed by WHO and UN agencies confirmed famine in Gaza on August 22, 2025, describing widespread starvation and preventable deaths, with UNICEF stating that children were starving to death and citing severe restrictions on humanitarian access as a driving cause. The numbers cited were accurate as of the recording, and the subsequent famine determination supports the starvation claim: largely accurate.
